The Crane, a spirit that flies through the sky, fishes in the waters, sleeps upon the land, and travels beyond the Ninth Wave is a symbol of transformation, grace, and the unity of the three realms.
These long-necked, liminal water birds are the symbol of the ADF Order of the Crane, and though herons and egrets are not taxinominally related to cranes, they are included in this set as well, as our ancestors did not generally distinguish between these types of birds.
This set, currently in its first edition, is made up of 18 tiles. Each tile has the silhouette of a crane (or cranes) in one of many actions. The title of the action, along with two to four key words, aid in the interpretation of the sign given. This set comes with the tiles and a bag to keep them together.
